Hotels and resorts: all-inclusive, adults-only and family stays
Where you stay shapes the whole trip and much of the budget. Each type of stay suits a different kind of traveler.
All-inclusive resorts
Meals, drinks and many activities are included in one price. They suit travelers who want to stay on site and like predictable costs. Check what is excluded, such as premium restaurants, spa treatments and excursions, and whether resort fees or gratuities are extra.
Adults-only resorts
Quieter, often with a focus on relaxation and dining. Popular for couples and honeymoons.
Family resorts
Check room configurations, kids’ clubs and their age limits, pool areas, and whether children eat or stay free.
Vacation rentals
Good for longer stays and groups, with kitchens and more space. Compare the total price including cleaning and service fees, read the cancellation policy, and pay only through the booking platform.
Booking tips
Compare the same room type across booking sites and the hotel’s own site, and check what is refundable before you book.
